On the 3rd and 4th of June, Mitutoyo Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (MAP) hosted our annual MAP Open House & Seminar 2010, at our Mitutoyo Building, M3 Solution Center. This year, up to 150 visitors attended this 2-day event, starting from 10am to 4pm daily.
Our application engineers and product sales specialists were available to demonstrate our latest Metrology measuring machines and Small Tools instruments, as well as answer technical questions and help visitors solve specific product applications. There were discount offers for our Metrology equipments, and great bargains for our showroom units. Special promotions for Small Tool instruments were also being offered by our distributors, who set up their own counters here.
This year, MAP organized a series of seminars especially for registered participants. Starting with ‘CMM Rapid Scanning to Inspection” and “Reverse Engineering” on the first day, followed by “Form Measurement: Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing” and “Basic Rules of using Metrology Instruments” on the second day. Our seminar speakers were specially invited from Mitutoyo Japan and Geomagic, each with their own forte and expertise. Participants were able to learn about some of the latest technology advancements in the measuring industry, as well as in-depth product demonstrations for our machines in our “Hyper Showroom”. Overall, we received excellent feedbacks on these seminars from our valuable participants, who commented that the seminar topics were very informative.
