For the very first time, MAP (Mitutoyo Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.) participated in Australia’s foremost advanced manufacturing event, Austech 2011. Held in Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, together with National Manufacturing Week (NMW) and Ausplas international plastics industry exhibition, Austech attracted a total of 12,000 visitors, showing the best outcome since its inception in the year 2000. More than 600 exhibitors from Australia and even overseas showcased their latest and most innovative technology.
Mitutoyo displayed some of our latest range of Metrology machines, and our Australia distributor, M.T.I Qualos Pty. Ltd., also lent their support by displaying our full range of Small Tool instruments, along with our CNC CMM and SpinArm-Apex machine in their booth.
Through this event, we were able to interact and better understand the specific needs of trade visitors who arrived from different states around Australia. And by demonstrating the sophisticated and innovative features of our latest high performance models, visitors were impressed with the high quality and limitless possibilities of our machines’ measurement capabilities.
